Your 3A Solution with Alpian – What You Need to Know
To offer you the best possible retirement and vested benefits solutions, Alpian has partnered with lemania-pension, a trusted Swiss pension specialist, and the two foundations it operates:
Fondation Lemania de libre passage
Fondation romande en faveur de la prévoyance individuelle liée – 3a
These foundations (collectively referred to as the Lemania Foundations) are the official providers of the third pillar (3A) and vested benefits solutions. They are responsible for managing your assets, administering your pension accounts, and ensuring compliance with Swiss pension regulations.
Alpian’s role is to facilitate your access to these solutions through a seamless onboarding experience and a user-friendly interface within the Alpian App. However, it’s important to note that Alpian does not manage your assets and does not provide investment advice.
Before you continue, we’re required to share some important information about:
Who provides the solution
Who to turn to for advice
How your personal data is handled
Who is responsible for the services
We encourage you to review these points carefully, as your consent will be required to proceed. This process is designed to ensure transparency and protect your interests throughout your experience with Alpian and the Lemania Foundations.
Who am I entering into an agreement with, and who manages my pension assets?
By choosing Alpian, you benefit from a seamless digital experience. While Alpian makes it easy to access and manage your pension solutions through our app, your legal and financial relationship is directly with the Lemania Foundations. These trusted institutions are responsible for safeguarding your assets and ensuring your pension is managed in line with Swiss regulations.
What you’re agreeing to:
You acknowledge and agree that all third pillar and vested benefits solutions referred to on the Alpian App (the Solutions) are not offered by Alpian SA (Alpian), but by independent third parties, namely the Fondation romande en faveur de la prévoyance individuelle liée – 3a and the Fondation lemania de libre passage (each a Lemania Foundation).
The Solutions are provided exclusively under the terms and conditions of a contractual relationship to be entered into between you and the relevant Lemania Foundation. In particular, any assets deposited into the Solutions will neither be held in custody nor managed or monitored by Alpian.
Who provides advice?
Alpian is here to guide you every step of the way. Our team offers clear explanations about the Lemania Foundations’ offerings, the structure of the Swiss pension system, and how to make the most of our digital platform. However, we do not provide investment advice or assess the suitability of these solutions for your personal financial situation.
What you’re agreeing to:
Alpian does not provide you with any investment advice or any other financial services within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA) in connection with the Solutions. In particular, Alpian does not verify the appropriateness and suitability of the Solutions, and your investments in the solutions will not be monitored. In case of doubt, you are encouraged to consult an external financial advisor.
How is my data handled?
Your privacy and security are our top priorities. To open and manage your pension account with the Lemania Foundations, Alpian securely shares only the information necessary for onboarding and administration. We handle your data with the utmost care, using robust security measures and sharing it exclusively for the purpose of providing you with these solutions.
What you’re agreeing to:
You acknowledge and agree that Alpian may disclose to the relevant Lemania Foundation, for the purpose of facilitating your onboarding and enabling the Lemania Foundation to provide services to you, any and all information and documents held by Alpian in the context of its business relationship with you. Such information may include, without limitation:
your name;
your date of birth;
your contact details (address, phone number, email);
your citizenship and tax residency;
your marital status;
your professional occupation;

any information you provide through the Alpian App in connection with the establishment of a relationship with the Lemania Foundation; and
any other information or documents as the Bank deems it appropriate or necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.
You expressly release Alpian from its banking secrecy duties and confidentiality obligations towards the Lemania Foundations and acknowledge and accept that Alpian may disclose your personal data to the relevant Lemania Foundation.
Who is responsible for the services?
Alpian gives you convenient access to the Lemania Foundations’ pension solutions and keeps you connected to your retirement planning. However, the Lemania Foundations are solely responsible for managing your assets and delivering the services. This clear separation ensures you benefit from both Alpian’s digital innovation and the Lemania Foundations’ pension expertise, while always knowing who is accountable for each aspect of your pension.
What you’re agreeing to:
You further acknowledge that you enter into a business relationship with the relevant Lemania Foundation entirely at your own initiative and at your own risk. Alpian shall not be held liable in any way whatsoever for the Solutions or for any services provided by the Lemania Foundations.
While you may access certain information relating to the Solution(s) through the Alpian App, as long as you remain a client of Alpian, such information is provided solely by the Lemania Foundations.
