Terms and Conditions for the American Express Gold Card® Offer
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the standard ongoing offer ("Offer") and the exclusive Christmas offer for the American Express Gold Card®, organised by Alpian SA ("Alpian") in partnership with the card issuer, Swisscard AECS GmbH ("Swisscard"). By participating in the Offer, applicants agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
Swisscard reserves the right to decline any card application at its sole discretion.
The special conditions, including the Alpian Bonus, apply only to applications submitted directly through the Alpian app.
3. Application mechanism
Clients can apply for the American Express Gold Card® through the Alpian app by following these steps:
Ensure you hold an active Alpian account.
Navigate to the "More" section within the Alpian app.
Select the American Express Gold Card® offer to be redirected to Swisscard's official application page and complete the order.
4. Standard Ongoing Offer details and rewards
Outside of limited-time promotional periods (such as the Exclusive Christmas Offer detailed in Section 5 below), clients applying for the American Express Gold Card® through Alpian under the Standard Ongoing Offer are entitled to the following conditions upon card approval by Swisscard:
Welcome Points: 15'000 Membership Rewards® points.
Standard Alpian Bonus: CHF 50 credited directly to your Alpian account after the first trimester.
Card Benefits: Full access to all standard American Express Gold Card® benefits, including airport lounge access, premium travel and lifestyle services, comprehensive insurance packages, and more.
Annual Card Fee: Standard annual fee of CHF 350 (Reduced to CHF 175 in the first year).
5. Exclusive Christmas Offer period (1 November 2026 – 4 January 2027)
For applications submitted between 1 November 2026 at 00:00 CET and 4 January 2027 at 00:00 CET (i.e., the night of 3 January to 4 January 2027), the Standard Ongoing Offer in Section 4 is upgraded to the Exclusive Christmas Offer for the American Express Gold Card®. Alpian reserves the right to terminate or modify the Offer at its discretion, in line with applicable laws.
Welcome Points: 15'000 Membership Rewards® points upon card approval (in line with the Standard Ongoing Offer).
Enhanced Alpian Bonus: CHF 150 directly credited to your Alpian account (instead of the standard CHF 50), after the first trimester.
Annual Card Fee: The standard annual card fee of CHF 350 (CHF 175 for the first year) continues to apply in full to the American Express Gold Card®.
5.1 Conditions to claim the exclusive Christmas Offer
To qualify for the Exclusive Christmas Offer, the applicant must fulfill both of the following conditions:
Successfully complete and submit their American Express Gold Card® order through Swisscard between 1 November 2026 at 00:00 CET and 4 January 2027 at 00:00 CET.
Actively contact Alpian Client Support via the in-app support chat to claim their promotion no later than 1 March 2027 at 00:00 CET.
5.2 Applications after the exclusive Offer Period
Any client submitting an application or registering interest for the American Express Gold Card ® after 4 January 2027 at 00:00 CET (or failing to claim the promotion by 1 March 2027 at 00:00 CET) will not be eligible for the Exclusive Christmas Offer and will automatically fall under the Standard Ongoing Offer (see Section 4) terms:
AMEX Gold: CHF 50 Alpian Bonus (credited directly to your Account), 15'000 Membership Rewards® points and annual card fee of CHF 350 (CHF 175 for the first year).
6. Account or card closure
Should you close your Alpian account or cancel your American Express Gold Card® with Swisscard prior to the completion of the payout schedule, you will automatically forfeit the applicable Alpian Bonus (CHF 50 or CHF 150).
7. Information sharing disclaimer
By applying for the American Express Gold Card® through this Offer, the applicant explicitly acknowledges and consents to the following:
The card issuer, Swisscard AECS GmbH, may be aware that the applicant maintains a banking relationship with Alpian SA.
Submission of the card application to Swisscard constitutes explicit consent to this disclosure.
Beyond this acknowledgement, Alpian and Swisscard will not share any further data or information regarding their respective client relationships.
8. Limitation of liability
Alpian SA acts solely as a referral partner for this Offer and is not the issuer or provider of credit card services. Alpian shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or dispute resulting from the application for, or use of, the American Express Gold Card® and its associated partner services, which are the sole responsibility of Swisscard and American Express. Alpian's liability is strictly limited to the disbursement of the applicable Alpian Bonus in accordance with these Terms.
9. Modification and termination
Alpian reserves the right to modify or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice, subject to compliance with applicable Swiss laws and regulations.
Any modification or early termination of the Offer shall not negatively affect valid card applications that have already been submitted to Swisscard prior to the effective date and time of such modification or termination.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Switzerland.

12. Final provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Alpian and the client regarding the Offer and supersede any prior agreements or understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
