  • Alpian will incorporate radicant clients, providing its innovative banking services

Zurich, 16.12.2025 – radicant bank ag (radicant) has created a follow-on solution for its clients that will continue to provide access to innovative banking services. A corresponding agreement between radicant and Alpian has been signed by the Boards of Directors of both banks. Alpian is a Swiss bank licensed and supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). It is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of Europe's largest banking groups.

On 11 November 2025, radicant announced that, in coordination with its majority shareholder BLKB, it would cease its business operations as a bank and return its banking license. This step is being taken within the framework of an orderly process, and client deposits remain fully protected. A solution has now been found together with Alpian that will continue to ensure that radicant clients have access to cutting-edge banking solutions. Both Boards of Directors signed the corresponding agreement. The transition is intended to be seamless for clients and will be completed within April 2026. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approval process.

“Alpian brings together, in a fully digital way, an everyday bank account with first-class investment services and personal expert support. For our clients, this is the ideal follow-on solution. We are very pleased to be able to present a corresponding offering together with Alpian,” says Bruno Meyer, CEO of radicant.

“We look forward to welcoming radicant clients to our platform. We are convinced that our innovative banking approach corresponds exactly to what banking clients expect from a modern digital bank. The transition will be designed to be as smooth as possible,” says Alpian CEO Gianmarco Bonaita.

All around 20'000 radicant clients, will be informed promptly and transparently about the next steps. The objective is that clients will in future be able to carry out their usual banking transactions seamlessly at their new provider. All obligations towards clients, employees, and partners will continue to be fully met.
