How it works

Step 1

Download the prepaid TWINT application and verify your TWINT account.

Step 2

Select the payment option in the TWINT app and check your email for the TWINT QR code.

Step 3

Login to your Alpian account, go to the Cash page, and select Payments.

Step 4

Select the QR payment option and scan the TWINT QR code.

Step 5

Once the payment is complete, the TWINT account will be funded and available for use.

How can I top up my TWINT Prepaid account from my Alpian account?

You can top up your TWINT Prepaid account by initiating a bank transfer from your Alpian account using a QR deposit slip. In the TWINT Prepaid app, select “Top up credit” and choose “Deposit slip.” You'll receive a personalized QR IBAN and reference number via email. Use these details to make a transfer from your Alpian app. The funds are typically credited to your TWINT account one calendar day after the execution date of the deposit.

Are there any fees associated with topping up TWINT Prepaid from Alpian?

Alpian does not charge any fees for transferring funds to TWINT Prepaid. However, ensure that the transfer is made in Swiss francs (CHF) using the provided QR IBAN and reference number. SEPA payments in euros (EUR) cannot be processed.

What are the top-up and balance limits for TWINT Prepaid?
  • Maximum account balance: CHF 3,000

  • Monthly top-up and incoming payment limit (18+): CHF 10,000

  • Monthly top-up and incoming payment limit (ages 15–17): CHF 800

  • Monthly top-up and incoming payment limit (ages 12–14): CHF 300

  • Credit code redemption limits: CHF 1,500 per day and CHF 5,000 per year

  • Annual limit for transferring TWINT credit back to a bank account: CHF 5,000

Can I link multiple bank accounts to my TWINT Prepaid app?

No, the TWINT Prepaid app allows linking to only one bank account at a time. If you wish to change the linked account, you can update the bank account details within the app.

How long does it take for a top-up from Alpian to appear in my TWINT Prepaid account?

Transfers from Alpian to TWINT Prepaid via bank transfer using the QR deposit slip are typically credited one calendar day after the execution date of the deposit. If the deposit is made via e-banking, the execution date is the day your bank account is charged. If made at a post office counter, the execution date is usually the next working day after your deposit.
